About
Daughter of an RAF pilot, Melissa, was born in London and grew up in Buckinghamshire. Singing her first solo at the Royal Albert Hall aged just 17.
Melissa attended the Arts Educational School Tring Park and then the Royal Academy of Music. Her professional career has taken her to some of the greatest venues in the world including Glyndebourne, The Salzburg Festival (under Sir Simon Rattle), The Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the Hallowed Turf at Twickenham. Since 2002 she has been in the full-time chorus of the Royal Opera House. In addition to her Chorus work, she regularly undertakes small roles and understudies at ROH. She made her solo debut at Covent Garden in 2003 under Sir Charles Mackerras.
Melissa is charismatic, funny and has a wonderful ability to connect with any audience. So if you are planning a corporate event, launch party, large sporting event or a more personal Wedding or Funeral let the warm and captivating voice of Melissa make it really special.
